God doesn't mind and it doesn't matter. You are free to dress however you feel most comfortable. a dress, a pant suit, a ball cap, a jacket and tie, your favorite team's jersey. or cargo trousers and flip-flops.
Worship includes congregational hymns. from the Methodist Hymnal or from the more contemporary Faith We Sing songbook, accompanied by the piano or organ. The adult Chancel Choir sings an anthem during the Service. Sometimes we have more contemporary music. On different Sundays, our bell choir and our Junior choir join in the worship service.
Only if you want to! Throughout the year we offer opportunities to learn about membership for those who want to make the commitment to Join the church as a member.
Goodness No! Understanding that this makes most folks uncomfortable, we don't ask visitors to introduce themselves. during the worship service. However we hope you join us for Coffee Hour after Church so we can introduce ourselves and get to know you over a cup of coffee and some yummy snacks!
That's an absolute yes! We love having Children in Church. However, the children. leave to go to Sunday School after the Children's Sermon so parents can relax and listen to the rest of the service.
We celebrate communion one Sunday a month as part of the worship service. The Methodist Church has an open communion tradition in which anyone who seeks to be in a relationship with God is welcome. But if you'd rather not receive communion, that's fine.
We don't have any food police during the service! So some people have been Known to sneak it in! But what you hould know about Methodists Is they love to find any occasion to get together and share food
